剧情简介
青年黄学勤(黄日华)的好友罗祖光(汤振业)从外国留学返港，欲在公司内大展拳脚，却为继母钟月湄(关菊英)阻挠，幸得学勤和洁莹(刘嘉玲)帮助，才能度过难关。 祖光打动洁莹成为情侣。祖光因未婚妻返港，即与洁莹分手。洁莹被祖光欺骗感情，非常伤心，幸得学勤细心开解，两人渐生情愫。祖光与未婚妻感情破裂，再次向洁莹展开追求，令洁莹难于抉择。 祖光生意失败，企图以非法手段骗取保险金，后为学勤知悉，加以劝阻，祖光痛悟前非，排除万难，重新振作。
