剧情简介
包秀秀（孙翠凤 饰）从小习武，个性活泼开朗，嫁给了秀才文必正，不久之后，可爱的儿子小宝诞生了。之后，文必正告别了家人进京赶考，谁知道这一走就是好几年的了无音信，包秀秀以为文必正已死，只得独自一人靠着卖艺肩负起了抚养小宝的责任。 某日，八府巡按下乡视察，让包秀秀没有想到的 是，这八府巡按，竟然正是自己失踪已久的丈夫，原来文必正出发不久就遭遇了险境，所幸得到一位名为如忆（翁虹 饰）的女子搭救，才捡回了一条命，之后更是考中了状元获得了皇帝的赏识封官进爵，现如今，如忆已经成为了他的妻子。虽然文必正一家三口团聚，但包秀秀和如忆之间的关系却如同水火一样一触即发。
