清雍正年间，反清志士纷纷起义，图谋推翻满清。雍正皇帝派大内高手纳兰德刚率其秘密杀人组织血滴子，赴扬州剿灭反清组织大明会，在江湖掀起一片腥风血雨。但平静的日子随着大明会黑白护法之一的鬼影修罗朱令策出现而告结束。方世玉不满苗翠花对自己的苛刻管教，上少林习武，并同纳兰德凯二人得传少林绝学易筋经，方德因雍正诡计导致天地会对其产生误会，无奈之下自刎以表清白，经历少林苦修后的世玉，继承父亲的侠义。
