剧情简介

1999年，一艘高精尖的外太空飞船坠落南太平洋岛，这一时间改变了战争频繁的地球历史。经过十年的研究，人类修复并重建太空船，并将其命名为“太空堡垒”。正当人类沉浸在一片自豪与喜悦中时，来自银河深处的天顶星人逼近地球，从早期的格罗佛船长、瑞克、麦克斯，到来自泰洛星的机器人统治者与让那率领的南十字军ATAC15小队爆发的第二次宇宙大战，再到已经实现外太空殖民的地球人与依靠史前能量生存的因维人的地球争夺战，接连三次宇宙大战，无数英雄登场，地球人与外星人长达半个多世纪的浩大战争相继呈现……　　本片由由美国金和声公司（Harmony Gold）根据《超时空要塞》、《超时空骑团》、《机甲创世纪》3部日本动画重新剪辑改编而成的85集长篇动画。
