炘南（吴建飞 饰）、北淼（柏栩栩 饰）、东杉（郭帅 饰）、西钊（张超 饰）和坤中（秦炎仕 饰）分别是来自五个不同村落的五位少年，因为继承了太阳系的守护者太阳星赐予地球的五颗光影石的力量，五人拥有了能够召唤神秘武器光影铠甲的能力。 他们的对手是邪恶而又残暴的暗影大帝。因为嫉妒地球的生机勃勃，暗影大帝派出了暗影五行魔入侵了地球。他们所带来的魔灵石拥有着黑化一切的能力，意在将地球上的生物赶尽杀绝。就这样，在代表光明的守护者和代表黑暗的暗影大帝之间，展开了一场激烈的战斗。少年们凭借他们的智慧和勇气，获得了一场又一场的胜利。
