电视动画《大剑》改编自八木教广创作的同名漫画，动画由Mad House负责制作。2007年4月4日起在日本电视台首播，全26话。传说，从古至今妖魔就潜藏在人类的世界中，人类对妖魔完全束手无策，于是求助妖魔猎人。妖魔猎人是身材苗条背着巨剑的银瞳女子，她们的身体里混有妖魔之血，可算是半人半妖。因背着巨大的剑，人们故而称呼她们为“大剑”。本作故事正是围绕着大剑中的一员克蕾雅和人类少年拉基，以及其他大剑成员的相遇相知而展开的冒险故事。
