剧情简介
70年代末期，自小在农村长大的杨柿红，和村里的牛旺相爱，后来两人家庭因为彩礼而闹翻，牛旺入赘到了邻村，杨柿红为了和他赌气嫁给了王长安，起初柿红觉得王长安窝囊，但经历了一段时间的生活，杨柿红慢慢成熟了起来，深深的被王长安的儒雅和走出大山的梦想感动，后来王长安因车祸去世，将一整个家留给了杨柿红，杨柿红为了对得起丈夫，也为了将孩子们教育成材走出大山，在煎熬与困苦中独自承担起了责任，一家人就这样艰难的向前走着，虽然有过机会走出大山改变命运，但柿红为了家人，最终还是留了下来，后来小儿子牺牲，柿红唯一一次走出大山却是为了迎回小儿子的骨灰。柿红历尽了悲欢离合的故事，告诉我们留守也是一种勇气，留守也同样高尚和伟大。
