剧情简介
这是发生在20世纪90年代初古城西安的一段往事。在那个炎热的夏天，女孩梅子（张笛 饰）怎么也不会想到，她的家庭，她的人生竟会出现如此大的变故。一场车祸，让梅子知晓了自己养女的身份，看病上学都需要钱，养父梅孝全（杜源 饰）为了赚钱走入他人设下的圈套。一直嫉恨梅子的同班同学刘芳（谢紫彬 饰）按照家人的安排，偷梁换柱以梅子的名义拿到大学录取通知书。大学消息焦急的等待，以及和向阳那份时常遭到误会和干扰的情感，让梅子一度痛不欲生。在命运的捉弄下，她最终没能和心上人走到一起。她接收了邓江平的追求，但婚后生活远远没有恋爱那般美好。 究竟是什么，要把所有的苦难强加到这名瘦弱女子的身上……
