朱（猪）九妹、钱多文、孙志国、李增原为上界啸天战士，因为种种原因被贬入凡间投胎做人。 二郎神发现魔界入侵中土，为了抵御侵袭，他找到了四位啸天战士，朱（猪）九妹，钱多文，李增，孙志国四人从平凡甚至有着这样那样的缺点的普通人，最终成长为团结一致、目标明确、英勇善战的巨灵战士，这四位战士毅然决然接受使命寻找对付魔界的办法。 在途中他们经过中天世界的磨砺，感受到了菩提老祖舍生取义的高尚情操，受到二郎神、飞天等一批性格各异，为了伟大理想、为了保护他人，而情愿自我牺牲的伟大精神，经受住了中天里幻界的诱惑而逐渐成熟，最终炼成了禁戒法术，成功捍卫人间和平安宁的故事。
