剧情简介
1956年，一对自由恋爱的男女结婚了。文丽（蒋雯丽 饰）和佟志（张国立 饰）彼此性格的差异在结婚初期已经体现出来。酷爱苏联小说、对生活有追求，内心有着强烈小资情调的文丽是家中最受宠爱女儿，而个性耿直、不谙浪漫的佟志也是父母疼爱大的独子。甜蜜的新婚期间还未过去，文丽已经添得一女，第一次为人父母的他们狼狈不堪。第二个女儿南方接着又来到世间，自顾不暇的夫妻只得送去四川给佟志的母亲照顾。与之相对比的，还有佟志的好友大庄以及大庄嫂作为比照，凸现出一集一年的人生中共同经历的琐碎的快乐与痛苦。青年的感情摩擦、中年的外遇困惑、老年的儿女操劳，还有小至婆媳关系、大至国家命运，都与这对平凡的夫妻离不开关系。 2005年，文丽进行了身体健康检查，体检结果出来之前，大家为二老举办了金婚庆祝，起码这一刻，大家内心都是平稳而幸福的。
