剧情简介
光绪12年，京城大学士和何棣的千金被人贩子绑架，下落不明；20年后，满清王朝崩溃前夕，何棣的孙女匡春泥带着母亲的骨灰飘扬过海，从美国回到何府。掌家的舅舅何敬业忠厚懦弱，舅妈苗金凤大权独揽，拒认春泥，幸而何母出面，春泥才得以安身。受西式教育的春泥与具有革命新思想的表哥何正英一见如故，互相爱慕。何正英参加革命党事发被迫逃命，何家被查抄后毁于一场大火，何母、何敬业及其六岁的儿子先后遇难。苗金凤认定这一切皆因春泥而起，就此心中埋下仇恨。春泥赴上海寻找正英，听说正英已死，顿时万年俱灰。为维持生计，春泥入皇家俱乐部当了歌女，不料很快走红上海滩，并与督军之子秦少刚结为夫妻。春泥入秦家后惊奇地发现，督军的姨太太竟是苗金凤，这时九死一生的何正英也出现在她面前……
