剧情简介
1947年初，蒋介石调集精兵强将，重点进攻我山东和陕甘宁解放区。敌众我寡，形势严峻，党中央决定放弃延安，转战陕北，在运动战中消灭胡匪。大敌当前，彭德怀主动请缨，挑起重任。 接到军委急电，二纵立刻西渡黄河奔赴陕北。周大勇率领的独立营群情激昂，誓死捍卫延安。 大战在即，总部医院护士谢芳苓负责的伤员，总部参谋王成德偷跑了，谢芳苓寻迹追赶。 黄河渡口。王成德被分配到独立营当教导员。三人相遇。 累倒的谢芳苓被一辆马车拉回到甘谷驿。 春寒料峭的青化砭埋伏了我军的主力部队。眼看敌31旅搜索队向我军阵地走来。给谢芳苓带路的李大爷和孙子拴牛毅然引开了敌人。遭伏击的敌人恼羞成怒，开枪打死了拴牛，把李大爷踹下悬崖。 谢芳苓决定留在陕北。 延安保育院情况紧急，独立营奉命去解救。交战中，一个孩子遗落在敌我双方阵地间，谢芳苓冒着生命危险冲上去营救。她的勇敢赢得了战士们的尊敬。
