剧情简介
胡、苗、范、田四个家族的恩恩怨怨皆起源于一个传说：明末李闯王起义失败后，留下了一个收尽人间财富的宝藏，而通往宝藏的钥匙分别由闯王的四大护法胡、苗、范、田四人保管。由于宝藏的巨大魔力，江湖上、朝廷中从来就没有停止过对这四个家族极其传人的搜捕，甚至这四家传人都在相互明争暗斗，人人都想将宝藏占为己有。 这日，胡家传人胡一刀（黄秋生 饰）与苗家传人苗人凤（方中信 饰）相约进行生死决斗。正当两人激斗正酣时，田家后人田归农（谭耀文 饰）为了宝藏的秘密趁机在暗处用毒杀害了胡一刀。胡一刀死前奋力将儿子胡斐（聂远 饰）交给了忠仆阿四带走，交托他好好抚养。一转眼胡斐长大了，他以为当年是苗人凤将父亲杀死，为了报杀父之仇，他踏入了险恶的江湖四处寻找苗人凤。
