律师韩绪年轻有为，事业成功但夫妻关系冷淡。 碍于朋友情面，韩绪出面为被控涉嫌贩运毒品的缪兰做辩护律师。缪兰入狱前是“红翻天”的老板，年轻漂亮。入狱后一直喊冤不止，认为自己是被诬陷的。当韩绪在看守所会见缪兰时，情绪过激的缪兰竟挟持韩绪要求释放。警方紧急出动，韩绪沉着应对，化解危机。出于职业敏感，韩绪对此案展开了深入调查，但立功心切的公安局徐局长却认为本案已经铁证如山，刻意阻挠。多亏当年的警队好友孙智……
