剧情简介
在一贫穷村落，有一位口才了得的状师戴亚斗（郑丹瑞）。村民每有任何冤情申诉，均礼聘他作其状师， 斗因而声名大噪。斗家乃状师世家，种下不少冤孽，其母恐斗绝后，遂为他娶–童养媳梅群娥（崔加宝）。然而，斗却对县官商君绵（黄新）之女商湘（蔡少芬）情有独钟。 后绵之亲戚因贪污而被抄家，绵亦被牵连其中。斗与湘赴京营救绵，欲请著名状师卓一言（曾伟权）相助，却被拒于门外。几经波折，斗终为绵洗脱罪名，并获慈禧太后御赐金牙，成为金牙大状。 不久，斗认识名妓伊静（钟淑慧），静对斗生爱意，惜斗不为所动。及后，静离奇被杀，斗亦被卷入案中。追查之下，斗发现真凶竟是好友倪铁梁（林嘉华）。究竟斗能否为自己洗脱罪名？真凶又会否被绳之于法？
